石膏内含的结晶水在遇火时分解，在墙面形成隔热层，在结晶水全部释放前墙体表面温度不超过140℃，所以石膏墙体耐火性好，耐火极限达到3小时以上；并且石膏制品遇火时只释放水蒸气，没有令人窒息的有害气体；

6) the crystal water contained in gypsum dissolves in the fire, forms the heat insulation layer on the wall surface, the wall surface temperature does not exceed 140 °C before the crystal water is completely released, therefore the gypsum wall body fire resistance is good, the fire resistance limit reaches 3 hours above;
